I’m considered by many to be a very creative person, but in fact, I just have a hard time thinking like I’m supposed to think. Doing what I’m supposed to do. Or rather, what I assume is ‘normal’. I need to solve my inabilities. Or that’s what it feels like…

I never finished school. I blame my dyslexia. Not sure if that is the real reason for dropping out, but it’s the one that makes sense to me. You see… I love learning. I am always curious, asking questions and on the move. But formal education just didn’t offer me…

It struck me that there is so much more we don’t know, as opposed to what we do know. We can’t even imagine. Even the amount of things I could potentially know makes me feel overwhelmed. Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, AI, NFTs, Quantum Computing, New Economics, Donut Economy… to name just a few. However, I feel the need to know enough about these topics, to have an educated opinion. To be able to cut through the mist of nonsense… to spot what all this really means for people.

Everything we think is the truth can just as easily be an assumption, being disproven by science, journalists, friends or events. But what is reality anyway? It’s just our brain looking for patterns to create the illusion we call reality. We all suffer from Apophenia, seeing meaningful patterns in randomness, but this is also a wonderful creative feature of our brain. It’s why we see faces in clouds, rocks and trees. We also see Jesus in toast, believe the earth is flat and everyone who thinks differently must be crazy.

Information — we look for it when we need to understand something. To know what is right, wrong, true, or false. Information should lead to knowledge and wisdom. It becomes useful, helping us to navigate the world, build relationships and.. well… survive. But what if there is too much of it? What if our schools and upbringing didn’t prepare us for a time where memorizing information is a skill with little use? What if we are incapable of making sense and filtering through the never-ending stream of stuff that keeps pouring out our devices? How do we choose the information that helps us, our society, our planet? How do we know if we have created an echo chamber, without realizing it…?

This article is not an article… it’s improvised and spontaneous rambling. I have a Writers block… or rather a ‘thinkers block’… I’m sure that's not a thing, but I’m having it. I don’t know what to write about, since everything is already been or being said. There is so much…
