6 days agoDon’t compete with tech. You already lost.I’m fascinated by the concerns creative professionals have about AI. Artists, photographers, writers, designers (etc.) are scratching their head, wondering if AI can replace them. But if there is one group that should embrace the new tool its creative thinkers & doers. The intervention created by new tech (currently AI/ Machine Learning) is disrupting the status-quo and causes chaos, and this is when a new generation of inventors and creative thinkers will emerge. This is why we have been teaching people to be entrepreneurial, agile, creative and lateral thinkers.1 min read1 min read
Dec 23, 2022ENDINGSI like beginnings and starting things. The smell and empty pages of a new notebook and a new pencil I just bought. In fact, I like the anticipation even more. I don’t like to think about the end. I hardly ever do. …Storytelling2 min readStorytelling2 min read

Nov 18, 2022Design language… A confusing messThis short rant was triggered by reading one of those articles on the difference and how to align one buzzword (say UX) with another (say Service Design)… It is interesting to see how the design language and meaning changes over time. When I started to be active in Service Design…2 min read2 min read
Nov 17, 2022The Creative and The OutcastI’m considered by many to be a very creative person, but in fact, I just have a hard time thinking like I’m supposed to think. Doing what I’m supposed to do. Or rather, what I assume is ‘normal’. I need to solve my inabilities. Or that’s what it feels like…Creativity2 min readCreativity2 min read
Nov 17, 2022Formal education is not enoughI never finished school. I blame my dyslexia. Not sure if that is the real reason for dropping out, but it’s the one that makes sense to me. You see… I love learning. I am always curious, asking questions and on the move. But formal education just didn’t offer me…Education1 min readEducation1 min read
Nov 17, 2022So much more to know…It struck me that there is so much more we don’t know, as opposed to what we do know. We can’t even imagine. Even the amount of things I could potentially know makes me feel overwhelmed. Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, AI, NFTs, Quantum Computing, New Economics, Donut Economy… to name just a few. However, I feel the need to know enough about these topics, to have an educated opinion. To be able to cut through the mist of nonsense… to spot what all this really means for people.Knowledge1 min readKnowledge1 min read
Nov 17, 2022Apophenia… I thinkEverything we think is the truth can just as easily be an assumption, being disproven by science, journalists, friends or events. But what is reality anyway? It’s just our brain looking for patterns to create the illusion we call reality. We all suffer from Apophenia, seeing meaningful patterns in randomness, but this is also a wonderful creative feature of our brain. It’s why we see faces in clouds, rocks and trees. We also see Jesus in toast, believe the earth is flat and everyone who thinks differently must be crazy.Apophenia1 min readApophenia1 min read
Nov 17, 2022Information <> WisdomInformation — we look for it when we need to understand something. To know what is right, wrong, true, or false. Information should lead to knowledge and wisdom. It becomes useful, helping us to navigate the world, build relationships and.. well… survive. But what if there is too much of it? What if our schools and upbringing didn’t prepare us for a time where memorizing information is a skill with little use? What if we are incapable of making sense and filtering through the never-ending stream of stuff that keeps pouring out our devices? How do we choose the information that helps us, our society, our planet? How do we know if we have created an echo chamber, without realizing it…?Education1 min readEducation1 min read
Nov 5, 2021… BlockThis article is not an article… it’s improvised and spontaneous rambling. I have a Writers block… or rather a ‘thinkers block’… I’m sure that's not a thing, but I’m having it. I don’t know what to write about, since everything is already been or being said. There is so much…2 min read2 min read
